We introduced the SERICA collection of super matt PVC decorative board to our full sheet range back in 2023 as the trend for matt surfaces went from strength to strength.
We initially introduced nine of the SERICA super matt decors - Cashmere, Dust Grey, Frost White, Graphite, Indigo Blue, Kobe, Kombu Green, Light Grey and Sage Green and shortly after added the Black décor to the list.
We've now added the Macadamia colour to the range: a warmer, slightly darker version of the Cashmere, which is proving to be a popular choice for doors and frontages.
SERICA super matt PVC board is hailed as a perfect solution for all types of furnishings in kitchens, bedrooms and other locations such as offices and retail environments.
One of its USPs is that the foil is laminated to both sides of the board, something not currently available on many other super matt boards on the market.

They complement the super matt doors also made of SERICA introduced into our Avanti Opus off-the-shelf doors collection as well as some in the made-to-measure Aspire collection.
Kevin Cashmore, our nationwide Sales Manager, says: "Introducing the SERICA panels opened the door to more opportunities to satisfy the market's demand for matt finishes. Existing customers are already asking for it to go with the SERICA colours in our door range, and it's an opportunity to attract new customers by plugging a gap in our board range."
SERICA's on-trend, contemporary colour palette incorporates solid colour right through to the core, so there are no unsightly joint lines. It has an anti-fingerprint silky touch finish and is highly scratch resistant.
And in the case of micro-scratches, SERICA can be easily repaired by using an iron or hairdryer to renovate the surface.

Kevin adds: "In today's market, SERICA is a very high quality finish, and it is an end panel that will work with many of our moulded doors. But there is a double benefit, because we can sell it to people who make doors, who will cut and edge it themselves, and we will have it as part of our door offering, which we can sell per door as part of a larger set, so if someone came to us with 20 different frontals we will then cut and edge it ourselves."
