A blogging microsite narrating colour, material and design styles for home, office and retail spaces has been launched to provide inspiration for our B2C clients by illustrating how the products we make and sell can be used by retailers, designers and fitters to satisfy current trends.
The new site and its content has been created by Kenika Gumbs, our Assistant Marketing Manager and a keen follower of home design trends, who promises to post new content at least once a fortnight.
Since its development and launch late last year, Kenika has already written several pieces that include insights into Barbie-inspired pinks, rusty reds, kitchen colours and designs, fashionable worktops, kitchen storage solutions, bedroom wardrobe styles and lighting ideas for bathrooms using HPP-supplied Sensio lighting products. The latest section focuses on the new Decorative Collection 24+ from Egger.
She says: "I've always had a keen interest in design trends, professionally and personally. I love putting mood boards together and coming up with various project ideas I can do at home.
"I hope our customers can take ideas from the blogs to help them create the looks their customers want. It could be they're struggling for ideas, which will give them some inspiration, or they might be looking for a certain product, finish or colour and this helps them find it."
Keeping abreast of the market, we recently added five new super matt colours - Indigo Blue, Monument Grey, Light Grey, Soft Grey and Angora Grey - to our Avanti Opus off-the-shelf doors collection.
And we have recently refreshed our handles range with more than 100 new additions, all reflecting current and emerging trends for colours and finishes such as matt black, satin brass, coppers and bronze and knurled surfaces.
