Sink and tap sales are the subject of a huge re-focus of attention as a result of us forging an exclusive partnership with Reginox.
Based in the Netherlands with a UK headquarters in Cheshire, Reginox is acclaimed for the style and innovation of its wide-ranging array of sinks and taps, which have coined the internationally renowned term 'Dutch design'.
We have re-aligned our Reginox pricing structure to make it more competitive, improved and updated our sink display stands within our Oldham trade counter and in the very near future we'll be holding joint training sessions with the Reginox sales team.
Sales Director Gareth Evans: "We don't talk about sinks and taps as part of our kitchen offer as much as we should do.
"We've had a relationship with Reginox for many years and we believe it is a good quality brand with a good name. It's not a cheap sink, but by the same token it's not ridiculously expensive. We feel it is a great product that complements our kitchen offer perfectly.
"I'd like to see a 50% growth in our sink and tap sales, and I do think that is achievable with this focus."
The alliance with Reginox is replicating similar successful partnerships we have forged with other leading manufacturers such as Blum, well known for its high-quality kitchen and furniture fittings, drawers and accessories, and wood-based product specialists Egger and Kronospan.
Dave Mayer, Reginox Commercial Director, says: "We're incredibly excited to be partnering with HPP. We feel we have the right products, at the right prices at the right time. We've known HPP for a long time and we've always had the ingredients to bake a cake, but we've never quite baked it, but now we can.
"With the energy behind this, from HPP and ourselves, I'd like to think we can double or triple our turnover next year. Gareth adds: "Our Purchasing Manager, Gary Kinder and I visited Reginox at their UK HQ and went through up-to-date products and how we can move forward. It was a great meeting, and we came away thinking how much more we can do in proportion to what we sell as full kitchens and other products.
"We've already done a sales exercise and sold out of some sinks and taps in a morning, so that really opened our eyes to the potential."
