With one of our busiest years for new developments and expansion well underway, 2016 is about to get a whole lot more exciting thanks to two fantastic new production lines soon becoming operational!
The new lines, based at our Oldham HQ site, will see a totally automated storage system being put in place that is capable of holding up to 7,000 individual sheets of material in any shape, size or colour.
This then feeds two brand new, state-of-the-art nesting routers, which have been carefully configured to produce made-to-measure PVC edged doors and bespoke cut-to-specification work. Our other manufacturing systems are also fed by this new infrastructure, making the entire factory totally dynamic and fluid.
The new lines are market leading in terms of speed, efficiency and accuracy, and thanks to sheet optimisation software, we can ensure our customers get the most out of every board being used, which helps to reduce waste and overall environmental impact.
All products will be finished using our all new, PU edge banding machine too, which uses a polyurethane adhesive to apply edge banding, creating an edge that is virtually waterproof, ensuring no edge-lift or separation.
