We have recently signed off on a £1million investment for the extension and improvement of our manufacturing facility based at our head office in Oldham.
The move comes as a result of increased customer demand for our wide range of KBB products, with particular emphasis being placed on our increasingly popular range of doors for kitchens and bedrooms, which include our aspire, glide and duo brands to name but a few.
The new manufacturing plant will house a state of the art robotic glue spray line and additional manufacturing and warehousing facilities, all of which will help offer customers increased levels of service, as well a brand new product range such as the eagerly anticipated HPP range of stock doors, award winning flat pack ClicBox carcasses and extended ranges of sliding doors.
The site will increase in size by 16,000 square feet, providing a total of 126,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing capability.
Martin Hill, Operations Director and a key figure behind the ambitious plans commented "The move comes at just the right time as we are seeing continued growth and development, meaning we need these additional resources to maintain and improve our high levels of customer service, production targets and overall customer satisfaction.
"The facility will provide a vastly enhanced offering as it will house state of the art machinery including a new spray glue line, and storage equipment that will aid increased production of our entire vinyl wrapped, PVC edged and glide door ranges, all of which have grown in popularity in recent years."
Our business has continued to thrive and grow in the Oldham area since it launched in 1991, and has a strong following of loyal customers. The new extension is hoped to secure up to 10 additional jobs here at HPP, which is great news for our business, customers and the Oldham Borough in general.
Work on the site commenced shortly after the land purchase and planning permission was agreed with the council, and is due to be completed later this year.

This particular development will help us to further support our customers with the usual high quality kitchen and bedroom doors they've come to expect but within much tighter timescales".
