We're delighted to announce that we've become an official distributor for Karndean Flooring, adding another quality brand to our already extensive product range and reinforcing our mission to be a 'one stop shop' for our KBB trade customers.
Karndean is widely regarded as a premium flooring product, and while it may not be an immediate choice for some of our customers who focus on designing and fitting kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and media rooms, it does introduce an exciting opportunity to broaden their services to their own end customers, with a complete design and installation, from the floor… up!
We're initially stocking a selection of 11 décors from Karndean's Palio Core range - six wood planks (Arezzo, Bolsena, Gallina, Modena, Monza and Sorano), three stone tiles (Carini, Cetona and Pienza) and two wood herringbone designs (Modena Herringbone and Monza Herringbone).
For those familiar with Karndean flooring, it needs no introduction: quality, ease of fitting and hard-wearing durability are just some of its features. But there's so much more, making it perfect for multiple applications where a tough, yet easy to fit surface is required:
- Quick and easy to install
- Patented click-locking mechanism: simply click planks / tiles into place
- Waterproof: won't swell, crack or warp when wet
- Low maintenance: easily cleaned with a sweep and mop
- Hygienic: unlike carpets, Karndean flooring doesn't hold dust, dirt, pollen or other allergens
- Highly realistic designs: designed to perfectly replicate real wood/stone
- Soft, warm and quiet underfoot: no cold tiles, no clicking shoes
And given the composite layers crammed into its mere 6.5mm thickness, it comes with a host of benefits that elevate it above just standard laminate flooring:
- No underlay required
- Installs over most existing hard floors easily installed on uneven sub-floors
- Compatible with underfloor heating, up to 27°C
- Rigid core and foam backing reduces noise impact transfer by up to 19Db
And each flooring décor has its own matching scotia available for that perfect finishing touch.
