This year promises a number of exciting developments including a fresh start for the new Egger Decorative Collection and our own 30th anniversary.
The Egger Decorative Collection features highly advanced surfaces in wood, stone, ceramic and material reproductions. It was launched early last year before the pandemic began but for many people, this year will probably bring the first real opportunities to explore this brilliant new collection.
This year is also a special one for us at HPP. We've been providing solutions, service and inspiration to the fitted furniture industry for 30 years. We're very proud of this achievement and look forward to celebrating our anniversary in different ways through the year. Look out for more details in the coming weeks.
Egger's new Decorative Collection represents its biggest product launch since 2017 with surfaces suitable for diverse uses in spaces including kitchens, bedrooms, offices and retail environments.
There are 250 surfaces to choose from, including woodgrains such as walnut and oak, sleek marbles, authentic stone, slate, concrete and metallic effects. There is a huge choice spanning traditional, classic and on-trend contemporary decors with matching splashbacks, laminates, edging and upstands.
At HPP, we work in close partnership with Egger and are a Diamond Distributor.
We will soon be launching a new online Inspiration Centre with Egger, offering HPP customers even more resources and help to design and visualise installation projects using these excellent surfaces and components. Details of the Egger Inspiration Centre will be coming soon.
We're also the only distributor to offer trade customers a unique service in processing full panel sheets from the entire Decorative Collection into made-to-measure doors or cut-to-specification orders.
In addition, we have upgraded our trade customer ordering system for cut-to-specification services. This achieves cost-effective, optimal use of panel materials and enables trade account holders to place orders and get quotes on a real-time basis, day or night. It's a great combination of excellent products and bespoke customer service.
Last year we were due to hold an open-day and roadshow with Egger at our Oldham HQ but as with many events across the country the event was cancelled when the pandemic began. We had planned to show customers and guests the new Egger Collection along with guided tours of our manufacturing, warehousing and distribution facilities, which have seen major expansion and investment as our business has grown across the UK in recent years. Hopefully there will be the opportunity to hold a physical event again in the near future point.
So, we start 2021 with determination and optimism to continue serving Britain's KBB industry and to further develop our innovative products and support.
