Look out for our latest trade catalogue dropping through your letterbox any time now, which will be delivered along with our first ever Pocket Guide.
This is the fourth edition of our popular catalogue and while it includes information about all 7,000-plus products we sell, the new Pocket Guide is focusing on some of the items not always associated with HPP.
These include sinks and taps, lighting, and the many complementary products, such as Soudal's multi-purpose silicone sealants, adhesives, decorators caulk and heavy-duty cleaning wipes - all reinforcing our reputation as a one-stop-shop for the fitted furniture industry.
However, the Pocket Guide isn't the only new concept. The catalogue is integrating print and digital with each other by using QR codes to take customers to the very latest information about ranges and décors more likely to evolve because of changing trends and styles.
A further benefit of the QR codes is to help customers gain a better understanding of how products can be combined with details of matching décors, edging tapes and other accessories.
The catalogue and Pocket Guide are being mailed out together to our nationwide database of customers complete with details of some special offers on selected lines.
Copies will be available to collect from either our Oldham trade counter or via the sales office once the initial postal distribution has been completed.
Marketing and business development director Dan Mounsey says: "The new catalogue is 400 pages with big sections on the products we are well known for - our own board, door and handle ranges, Blum fittings, EGGER and Kronospan, for instance.
"But instead of having large grids listing all the different alternatives for these kinds of products, we're giving an overview and then encouraging customers to use the QR code to go to our website, where all the information and prices will be up to the minute.
"Those sections tend to dominate, so by introducing the Pocket Guide, we're picking out products that might get overshadowed by some of the bigger ranges; to show we can supply various add-ons and complementary products at competitive prices, so customers can buy them from us without having to go to other retailers and suppliers.
"Soudal is a good example. We're not necessarily associated with sealants and adhesives, so we're hoping the Pocket Guide will help to change buying habits and reinforce our one-stop-shop message."
At 400 pages, the handy A5-sized catalogue is slightly smaller in pagination due to the digital integration but still contains all the products and services available from HPP, from our big brand trading partners to our own Avanti stock doors - including the new Avanti Fresh and Avanti Choice ranges - our Aspects PVC-edged doors, and our Glide and newly launched Glide Frameless sliding doors.
Other new additions including the eight Namuri finishes added to our Aspire made-to-measure, vinyl-wrapped doors range, which create a 'range within a range'; and the latest Kronospan Trend Collection, which features unique, repeat-free pattern across a whole board of oak décors, synchronised embossing and matching tops and fronts.
