Our three brave fundrasiers Gareth Evans, Chris Essex and Shaun Nolan have returned to HPP triumphant after completing a daunting 20-foot walk over hot coals in aid of local Oldham charity and community centre Mahdlo!
The trio decided to partake in the challenge as all the funds raised contribute to Mahdlo's continued good work to help youngsters in the community. This includes the opportunity to meet new friends, learning new skills, access to new experiences and support to develop and achieve their true potential.
The event and challenge went nicely to plan, with Chris the first out of the blocks, closely followed by Shaun and Gareth, all of which completed the challenge bravely, and thankfully, safely!
Although there were a few very minor scorch marks here and there, Gareth, Chris and Shaun commented that they were delighted to have been able to raise money for such a good cause, and enjoyed conquering the challenge they'd been set.
The three fundraisers have managed to raise well in excess of their £500 target for the Mahdlo charity, and were pleased to have completed the challenge.
