Maintenance Engineer Assistant

Working in a dynamic environment assisting our existing engineering team, on a variety of machinery, plant and equipment spread across various buildings and departments around our site.

The role will include tasks such as:

  • Carrying out routine inspections & maintenance tasks
  • Assisting with planned preventative maintenance
  • Helping engineers carry out their work

This role is an ideal entry point for anyone who has an interest in engineering, with the opportunity to learn in a real-world environment and to progress to training towards engineering qualifications for the right candidate.

Junior Design Technician

We currently have the opportunity for a Junior Design Technician to join our vinyl wrapped door manufacturing division. Working as part of a team of 3, the successful candidate will join our existing operators in an office based within the manufacturing environment.

The role will include tasks such as:

  • Learning to draw bespoke doors using our CAD software
  • Planning the manufacture of doors by creating works orders on the ERP (computer) system
  • Developing a close relationship with the Purchasing team to help keep good levels of raw material supply

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in IT along with a keen eye for design. Full training will be given, with the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in areas such as CAD & CAM.
