Sheffield Branch - Sales Office / Trade Counter Administrator

Working in a busy sales office and trade counter duties will include; serving customers, answering phone calls, processing orders and dealing with customer enquiries.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • A high level of computer literacy
  • A good telephone manner
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team and under their own initiative
  • Relevant and / or industry specific experience will be beneficial but is not essential

Purchasing Administrator

Working in a busy purchasing department the main role will be to support the existing team at all stages of the supply chain to ensure that material flow in all areas supports planned production and related functions. Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Placing purchase orders
  • Progressing and expediting purchase orders
  • Processing purchase order confirmations
  • Liaise with the sales team on; product queries, stock queries, price queries
  • Liaise with suppliers
  • Liaise with managers and supervisors across the business with any queries or issues they may have

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to effectively communicate via email
  • A friendly demeanour and positive attitude
  • The ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel are essential. Training on our own ERP system will be given
