'Hills Angels' All Set For Muddy Charity Challenge

'Hills Angels' All Set For Muddy Charity Challenge

Meet the 'Hills Angels' - a team of women from our HPP HQ taking on a seriously (but seriously fun too!) muddy obstacle course to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The team are taking part in the Pretty Muddy event at Heaton Park, Manchester, on Saturday July 14th.

The fun challenge is part of the Race for Life series of women-only events held by Cancer Research UK to raise money for research into over 200 types of cancer.

The 'Hills Angels' work in roles including sales, administration and accounts. They include Angela Hodgson, Nicole Aspinall, Jessica Smith, Tracy Lees, Michelle Topping, Tina Crossley, Audrey Crowther, Caroline Barker, Anna Hennessy and Carole Hamnett-Sadler.

Here at HPP we have a number of staff whose family members or friends have been affected in some way by cancer, so getting muddy for Cancer Research UK was an easy decision for the 'Hills Angels' to make.

The Pretty Muddy event on July 14th is a 5km-long course with mud thrown all over the obstacles. The emphasis is very much on getting muddy and having fun whilst fundraising for a very worthwhile cause.

The Hills Angels team have set up a fundraising website and are circulating official sponsorship forms at HPP. Donating is really easy and we hope colleagues, customers, friends and family will support their efforts by donating to Cancer Research UK.
