Staff and customers from HPP recently took on the well-known Coast & Castles Cycle Route in aid of charity to help raise funds for Cancer Research UK.
The charity bike ride, which saw 180 miles being covered in just three days took Stuart Hyde & Stephen Taggart from HPP, Chris Podwojski & Chris Luke from Broadoak Kitchens and Alan Elliot along some of the most scenic yet challenging areas of the Scottish and Northumbrian Coast.
Passing historic sites, castles and fishing villages, the group of fund raisers, along with David Brayson from Broadoak kitchens driving the support van, fought the elements, and a few steep inclines too, making their way steadily through the Scottish borders and Northumbrian coast, before dropping down into Newcastle to cross the finish line.
The group we're raising money for Cancer Research UK, and are still accepting donations via their just giving page, available at https://www.justgiving.com/Stuart-Hyde4castles
Well done to the full team for their achievement and for supporting such a worthy cause.
